Dear People of All Saints . I am wondering if anyone could help me with a book I am currently working on . It is a history of the non league football team that I support. Stoney Croft FC where formed in 1911 and from research , I have established that up until 1932 , the where playing under the name All Saints Stoneycroft . We are one of the oldest clubs in Liverpool. I was hoping that there may be information about the clubs early years . I discovered a story by a former player, now in his 80s , who relayed to me some information he discovered in the 1970s . He himself decided to find out more about the club by visitingthe church. He was vague as to whom he spoke to but thestory he relayed to me was extremely clear and very poignant. The Football Team was in its infancy at the outbreak of the first world War. In 1919 the team regrouped and out of a large squad only 7 survived ! I would be greatfull for any information written or verbal regarding the origin of the club . Thank you

All Saints was my parish church all through my childhood. I attended Sunday school there and Sunday services. I was married at All Saints in the summer of 1984 and have lived on the Wirral since. It's good to see that there is still a thriving community at AllSaints and I have enjoyed looking at your website with information of the church and Old Swan itself.

Will love to keep in touch with you. I worshipped with you on August 15, 2010 when I visited Liverpool. I enjoyed the service very much.
